Welcome to Operation Earth Shield!

Mission Overview: Earth is under attack by relentless Space Invaders, and you are humanity’s last hope! Defend the planet across 3 intense levels, each with unique challenges. Unlock Level 2 and Level 3 by achieving victory in the previous level. Level 3 features 2 stages, complete Stage 1 to advance to the final showdown and save Earth!

How to Play:

1. Level Conditions:

Level 1: Eliminate all Space Invaders and protect Earth’s defenses.

Level 2: Survive waves of invaders while repairing critical systems.

Level 3:

Stage 1: Defeat the invading fleet.

Stage 2 (Final): Destroy the mothership to secure victory!

1. Controls:

On-Screen/Keyboard: Move with arrow keys (or on-screen joystick on mobile), shoot with left ctrl (or on-screen button), and use special abilities with designated keys/buttons/joystick.

1. Tips for Success:

Dodge enemy fire, collect power-ups, and strategize to conserve resources.

Pay attention to mission briefings for level-specific objectives.

Level 1: Defend Earth’s Perimeter

Objective: Protect Earth from the invading Space Invaders by destroying them and achieving the winning conditions.

 Gameplay Details:

1. Player Stats:
   • Max Lives: 5
   • Starting Lives: 3
   • Lose a Life: When you collide with an enemy.
2. Scoring System:
   • Destroy an enemy: +10 scores
   • Gain an extra life: +20 extra projectiles when your score reaches a multiple of 200 scores.
3. Projectiles:
   • Starting Projectiles: 50.
   • Use them wisely! Running out of projectiles makes it harder to defend yourself.
4. Winning Conditions:
   • Reach 500 points AND have 5 lives to unlock Level 2.
5. Game Over Conditions:
   • Lose all lives or become out of projectiles before meeting the winning conditions.

 Tips for Success:

• Avoid collisions with enemies.
• Aim for high scores to gain extra lives and extra projectiles and ensure victory.
• Manage your projectiles carefully to avoid running out.

 Level 2: Fortify Earth’s Defenses

Objective: Hold off the relentless Space Invaders and strengthen Earth’s defenses to achieve the winning conditions.

Gameplay Details:

1. Player Stats:

Starting Lives: 5

Max Lives: 8

Lose a Life: When you collide with an enemy or are hit by their laser beams.

1. Projectiles:

Starting Projectiles: 100

Bonus Projectiles: Gain +20 projectiles for each extra life you earn.

1. Scoring System:

Destroy an enemy: +10 scores.

Gain an extra life: +20 points when your score reaches a multiple of 100 sores.

1. Winning Conditions:

Reach 300 points AND have 5 lives to unlock Level 3.

1. Game Over Conditions:

Lose all lives or become out of projectiles before meeting the winning conditions.

Tips for Success:

Dodge enemy laser beams and avoid collisions at all costs.

Use your extra lives to replenish projectiles and stay in the fight.

Focus on scoring points to gain lives and projectiles for a stronger defense.

 Level 3, Stage 1: The Final Stand – Part 1

Objective: Survive the relentless assault of the Space Invaders and achieve the transition conditions to advance to Stage 2, the final battle!

Gameplay Details:

1. Player Stats:

Starting Lives: 1

Max Lives: 5

Lose a Life: When you collide with an enemy or hit by their laser beams.

1. Protection Mechanic:

Activate 5 seconds of protection by pressing Left Shift (keyboard) or tapping the Shield Icon (on-screen) on mobile.

Cost: Losing 1 life (you must have ≥2 lives to activate protection).

1. Scoring System:

Destroy an enemy: +10 scores.

Gain an extra life: +1 life when your score reaches a multiple of 100 scores.

1. Stage Transition Conditions:

Reach 300 points AND have 5 lives to advance to Stage 2.

1. Game Over Conditions:

Lose all lives or become out of projectiles before meeting the transition conditions.

Tips for Success:

Use protection strategically to survive intense enemy waves.

Focus on scoring points to gain extra lives and build your defense.

Avoid collisions and enemy laser beams at all costs!

Balance offense and defense—don’t waste lives unnecessarily.

Level 3, Stage 2: The Final Showdown

Objective: Destroy the enemy Mother Ship to save Earth! Be prepared for its defenses, including mines, child enemies, and its powerful immunity shield.

Gameplay Details:

1. Player Stats:

Lives: 3

Starting Shields: 5

Shield Protection: Activates for 5 seconds when used.

Lose a Life: When you collide with or are hit by:

Child Enemy (small spaceship that shoots projectiles).

Main Enemy (Mother Ship).

Mines (stationary defenses in front of the Mother Ship).

Child Enemy Projectiles or Main Enemy Laser Beams.

1. Controls:

PC:

Shoot: Left Ctrl

Activate Shield: Left Shift

Mobile:

Move: Joystick

Shoot and Activate Shield: On-Screen Buttons

1. Enemy Mechanics:

Mother Ship:

Has an immunity shield that activates for 20 seconds and has a 10-second cooldown.

The shield can withstand 5 hits before breaking.

Child Enemies:

Small ships that attack you directly and shoot projectiles.

Mines:

Stationary defenses placed in front of the Mother Ship.

1. Winning Condition:

Destroy the Mother Ship to win the game and save Earth!

1. Game Over Conditions:

Lose all lives (lives = 0).

If you lose, you must restart from Level 3, Stage 1.

Tips for Success:

Use your unlimited rockets to destroy enemies and mines.

Activate your shield strategically to avoid losing lives.

Focus on breaking the Mother Ship’s immunity shield during its cooldown period.

Watch out for child enemies and mines—they can overwhelm you quickly!
